PineSkins Mat is a handcrafted rug made with tree bark.

Named PineSkins, this leather-like material is obtained from the inner bark of pine trees. This part of the trees is a by-product of tree-cutting and wouldn’t normally have a use. Holes & imperfections in the material are repaired with a wool filling. The rug is then finished with natural wax.

Wood bark is sourced in Latvia and production takes place in Amsterdam.
