why is it more sustainable?

Sintra is a handcrafted rug made of recycled cotton.

All Saudade rugs are made from fabric leftovers such as discontinued products, fabric surplus from cutting clothes, and unused spools from non-compliant batches.
Being woven on both sides, Saudade rugs are reversible, so they can be used for twice as long.

Saudade is adopting more sustainable practices throughout its supply chain. All conventional packaging has been replaced with a reusable option. Products are shipped in a cover made from recycled materials (scraps from boat sails or old tarps) that can be sent back to the company for reuse.
