why is it more sustainable?

Palm is a floor lamp made of a bio-based plastic.

Gantri Plant Polymers are produced from corn, sugarcane, and sugar beets. Fermented sugar produces lactic acid, which is dehydrated, turned into polylactic acids (PLAs), and then mixed with additives to make the final material.

When compared to petroleum-based plastics, these polymers produce 75% less CO2 (per kilo of material) and no harmful substances are released during production. Gantri only works with suppliers that apply non-GMO and sustainable farming practices, ensuring that crops are not overexploited.

Gantri products are made-to-order, preventing the impact of overproduction. Products are 3D printed, then hand-finished and assembled.
