laime

NOMA

why is it more sustainable?

Laime is an armchair made of responsibly selected materials, with 79.6% recycled content.

Recycled materials include recycled steel for the structure and recycled foam for the seat padding. The upholstery is made of untinted French wool.

Sustainability is one of the main pillars of NOMA’s vision. The entire life cycle of products is considered – from design to disposal – finding solutions that align with a circular economy model.
Single product components can be repaired or substituted, and products are easy to disassemble, facilitating material recovery. For example, Laime is assembled without screws or glue: the seat pad simply slides into the steel structure and the back is kept in place with a snap button.

Transparency is another key pillar at NOMA. Each product is presented on the brand’s website with a comprehensive list of the materials that compose it, their origin and recycled percentage.
