why is it more sustainable?

The Siempre is a blanket made with recycled yarn: 41% alpaca, 30% wool, 15% cotton and 14% reclaimed mixed fibers.

All waste fibres are sourced from internal production offcuts, then shredded and spun into recycled yarn.

At Blacksaw, alpaca wool is sourced in close partnership with rural Peruvian families that have made a living from raising alpacas for generations. The shearing process doesn’t harm the animals.
