why is it more sustainable?

Side Table 03 is a handcrafted side table made upcycling industrial plastic waste.

The material is a mix of 70% waste polyurethane foam dust and 30% hand-dyed resin, which acts as a binder.

Polyurethane foam dust is a by-product of CNC milling. This type of plastic is currently not recycled, and Charlotte Kidger products give new value to this otherwise uninteresting material.

The making process is zero-waste as all offcuts can be reused to make new products. All Charlotte Kidger products are made-to-order, preventing the impact of overproduction.
