why is it more sustainable?
Looking Out is a handmade textile artwork created entirely with second-hand materials.
Frame and base fabric are sourced from the local recycling center in Helsinki. The yarns used to punch needle the subject come from second-hand stores or swapping. Overall, 500gr of waste find a new life in this artwork.
All Wasteless Wonders products are made-to-order, preventing the impact of overproduction. Products can be returned once they reach end-of-life, and they will be transformed into new pieces over and over again.
